How big can an email attachment be?
Email providers usually limit the whole message to somewhere between 20 and 25 MB, and attachments grow by about a third when they're encoded for sending. 13 MB is a safe size for virtually every provider; if you know the recipient and sender both use Gmail, you can go up to 18 MB.
Sending to a work address
Company mail servers often set stricter limits than consumer providers. If a message bounces, try again with a smaller custom size — 10 MB is a common corporate cap.
